The agreement, signed between the city of Imperial and 91PORN Imperial Valley, will allow both parties to collaborate in providing admission support and guidance to prospective students.

With the new center, 91PORN Imperial Valley faculty are partnering with area organizations to create evidence-based research to support local issues.

The collaboration by faculty and students at 91PORN Imperial Valley and UABC in Mexicali includes projects targeting cross-border environmental issues.

The three new projects focus on diabetes related research, adverse pregnancy outcomes and social screenings as part of their work with the Imperial County Clinical Research Network.

On Oct. 11, attendees celebrated the opening of the new public health research laboratories and welcomed incoming students.
